It was pretty routine. Blood pressure, weight, measure, doppler.

But I did find out my uterus is measuring 2 weeks ahead of what I am! Oh my goodness. Anyone have this? It doesn't mean I could have a giant baby right? Haha I mean I'd rather be measuring big than small but I'm only 4"10 I can't handle a 10 pound baby!

So what I thought was a "bloat belly" is in fact a baby belly

OB actually found the HB pretty high like an inch under my belly button.. I usually find it lower? Hm interesting.

Anyway all is good and we find out what were having on Thursday!!!

Forever missing my 3 angel babies. Sep 2010, Nov 2010, Jan 2011

FWIW, my dr doesn't do measurements until after 20 weeks since it can be somewhat unreliable....but maybe there's two in there good luck at your u/s tomorrow. glad to hear everything is going well!

Ditto what she just said. Today was my first belly measure. They dont do it before 20 weeks because its not reliable.

Also what baby measures right now may not give you any indications of what it will be at birth. Babys go through growth spurts so you could measure totally different next week. As long as you are with in a week then your with in normal range.

Glad it was routine and everything was good, they also didn;t start easuring me until the third tri. and I measure two weeks behind. but, baby is fine so wait until your u/s and see what that says, I wouldn't worry about it

I don't think they have ever measured me.....but I go to a high risk doctor and they do an u/s at every visit.

I wouldn't worry about it either, could be because you are so small that your uterus is just preparing.

Wow...you are really early for them to be measuring!! I wouldn't stress about the baby being too big!! Like Lindsey said, your baby will go through a ton of growth spurts between now and D-day!!! But there will also be weeks of little to no change. No need to worry!!

Sounds like a good appt. Yeah I don't think they measure at my midwife's until after 20 weeks either....but I'm 14 weeks and my uterus is almost all the way to my belly button already.

My doctor told that I would have a 10lb baby because I was so big, he ended up being 7lb 10oz, so I wouldn't worry about that.
