I had my appt with my MFM this morning. We started out with the NST. Baby A passed within the first 5-10 minutes. Baby B still didn't pass after 30 minutes. His heart rate was good, he just had no interest in being reactive whatsoever. So we moved on to the growth u/s and biophysical profile. I wound up with my favorite tech in the whole world. She is so amazing! We started talking about the growth issues that B had at the last u/s, and she sat down and showed me everything that they found last time. It made me feel so much better. Then she was super thorough and reassuring during today's u/s. She explained EVERYTHING that she was finding (which is something the other techs won't do). Both babies looked great! A is 5lbs 1oz and is in the 79th percentile. B is 3lbs 13oz and is in the 43rd percentile. The gap in their growth has gone from 27% to 24%. They're not really concerned too much about the gap anymore, because B is growing well for his gestational age (one day ahead). A is measuring 2 weeks and 1 day ahead. So it seems we've got a little line backer and a normal munchkin, and I'm fine with that! Next week I start twice weekly NSTs and AFIs with the MFM in addition to my weekly appts with my regular OB.

Thank you Jaidynsmum for my beautiful siggy!

So glad that you got "answers" and reassurance that the boys are doing well. Sounds like you do, indeed, just have one big boy and one average sized one.

I had a friend who was induced 5.5 weeks early with her twins because they were registering such a wide gap in size (At birth one was 3.5lbs ish and one was 6lbs, 2oz). They were worried about Baby A's growth and were thinking Baby B was restricting her. They are 8 now and "Baby B" is still leaps and bounds larger than her sister, who is just genetically petite. So it is good that your doc just realizes they are genetically different and still are growing on their curves. Hopefully all continues to go well and they bake up a while longer.

BTW...which one is Baby A and which is Baby B (namewise)? Or is that something you are determining at birth? I know the general public does not know names, I was just wondering
