Hi ladies! I have dropped off the face of the JM planet for a couple months here We had a couple very busy weeks at the holidays with us traveling and then have house guests. Then I had to start back at work right after New Year's. Luckily I do childcare for a family in their home and am able to bring Eleanor with me. I know I would have never been able to leave her with someone else when she was only 8 weeks old. At 14 weeks, she has still only ever been apart from me during one doctor's appointment while DH sat with her in the waiting room! I think I have a little separation anxiety As great as it is that I can bring Eleanor to work with me, it has been a bit of a rough transition. I watch 3 boys 3 days a week. The youngest of the boys is only 11 months older than Eleanor and fully mobile. It has definitely not been as hard as I was afraid it would be, but it has its moments! Add in a 1 hour commute (1 way) and Eleanor still waking 2-3 times a night, and I am just exhausted!

But besides not having any JM time, we are doing great! Eleanor is a big smiler and is working on perfecting her screeching. She just rolled from belly to back for the first (and second and third) time the other day and she is a pro at holding her head up. All she wants to do all day is sit up or jump in her jumperoo. She LOVES reading books and has figured out that she can grab and turn the pages. Since she is the first grand daughter on both sides, every day is a baby fashion show. Right now she is fitting in all of her 0-3 month clothes and her 3-6 month clothes, so we have at least 50 outfits for her

Here are a few pictures of Eleanor.

Now I need some updates from everyone else. How are you doing? How far along are you in your pregnancy or how old is your little one? Show me some belly pictures or nursery pictures or baby pictures! I can't wait to hear about everyone and end my JM withdrawal

She is beautiful!

Olivia is 8 months old now (will be 9 months old on Thursday). She has now *almost* perfected sitting unassisted and her first tooth is beginning to break through. She is at a weird spot in terms of clothes, 9 months are a bit too small (especially sleepers in length) but the 12 month is just a touch big.

Here's the most recent picture of her, taken yesterday.

Hi Nicole! I was just thinking about you last night! Eleanor is gorgeous and getting so big! I'm still here. I'm 33w1d now and chugging right along. I've got high risk/OB appts a minimum of 3 times a week now, and we're pretty much on-call for these babies coming. My OB told me that she'll be reviewing my NST and amniotic fluid index tests as the high risk dr does them and to not be surprised if she calls one night and tells me to come in the next day for my c-section. I'm hoping that they make it at least another 2-3 weeks. Here's my latest belly pic from Tuesday.

Hey Nicole!! I am so glad you posted! I was wondering how that little girl of yours was doing! I am doing well. Just about 20 weeks...kinda crazy...and we found out a couple weeks ago, it's a boy! I don't have any pics on my computer right now but I definitely look pregnant. In a sweatshirt you can't really tell, but in anything else there is a definite bump. We are over the moon excited.

Your baby is precious and what a good deal you have going on being able to spend so much time with her. I am sure you are enjoying every moment. Keep in touch!

I am so glad you came back to update! I have been curious as to how new-mama-hood has been treating you I am glad to hear that things are going so nicely, even if you are tired (you didn't expect to be well rested...right??!! )

Your little girl is adorable She looks like she has quite the personality. I can't believe she is getting so big.

We are good and still hanging around here. Kieran will be 5 months old this week and is a huge chunk of baby. Lol. He is rolling like mad, all around the room. He also loves his Jumperoo and goes to town in it. He is not such a sleeper, but is a really smiley and happy baby regardless. He is growing so much quicker than my first (if that is even possible).

Glad to have you back. I hope to see ya around more.

Hi there! I'm 34 1/2 weeks now and have finally gotten the nursery and the kitchen (baby stuff) all ready for this little girl. I'm all finished with the specialist and all of the things they were worried about have resolved. Phew!

You sound so busy! I totally hear you on the tired front, do any of these babies sleep? I think its just something some parents say, none of them really sleep! haha

Nicole!! It is great to hear from you! She is SO adorable!!!

Marsi still hasn't mastered rolling yet. She can't get the momentum. Oh well. Marsi is just a couple of weeks away from 4 months old! I can't believe it!! I love being a mommy. DH graduated with his PhD but has yet to get a job. He did interview last week and should know if he got that job within 2 weeks. I am SO hoping that he gets it. I have been working since the middle of January. I honestly hate it. I can't wait to be a SAHM. When DH was interviewing (flown out) I loved being home with Marsi and cleaning the house...weird for me. Here is a picture of my beautiful girl.

We haven't started putting the nursey together yet. I am waiting for Dh's sisters to help clear their mom things out of one room we will be using down stairs then I am changing everything around in our room to make room for Cody. I am giving Dh's sister until March to get their mom's things out. If they don't then I am taking everything to Goodwill.

Thank you her middle name is Madison. I wanted her middle name to be named after someone but not a grandma as I was 100% certain I only wanted her to have one middle name and I didn't want anyone feeling left out. Daddys name is Matthew, soooo Madison it was!

Hi Nicole - Your daughter is so beautiful!! I am kind of concerned about Scarlett now. It seems either your daughter is very advanced or Scarlett is very behind on where she should be. She just started to scoot a tiny bit when playing on the floor. But none of the other things your daughter is doing.

Nice to see you around here!!

Missy, don't worry about Scarlett! Nora is doing a lot of things early, based on what I've seen with babies I've known and this chart: Milestones Chart

I'm sure Scarlett is right on track! How is she doing? She is such a cutie

Still no insurance, but we have an awesome doctor who goes out of her way for us! She only charges us $73 a visit now and only $200 per u/s. My hubby's insurance should kick in at the beginning of next month, but right now he may have a huge job offer at another firm, so it is still up in the air until we hear something back.
