So I wake up this morning and my shirt was drenched in "colostrum". I have been leaking since about 20 weeks but it always comes out in small amounts at a time... Not to the point where my shirt looks like I spilled on myself...

This can't be my milk coming right? Can you tell a difference?

I'm really sorry if this is a dumb question. I talked to my OB last week and she said leaking is just fine but it's just the fact there is so much now!

Any insight would be awesome

Should just be colostrum. It is normal to leak, some women leak a lot, others like me are dry as a freaking bone (which worries me of course!)

Its very normal so many woman in my DDC have been complaining about this for months now.

I am like Sam dry as a bone even after my milk comes in so I would trade you in a heart beat
Sounds like you could have a great milk supply once it comes in (I hope you are planning on breastfeeding if not then getting that to dry up might be a long battle...lol)

I have some very small leakage, but if I barely squeeze my nipple a whole bunch comes out. It's normal. You will have a good milk supply when it does come in though. I had too much milk for the 6 months I brestfed my daughter. I leaked up until my milk dried up. Some women stop leaking after a few day and some a few months. Lol. I was jealous.

Thank you Shortcake for my beautiful siggy!
