I know there is really no logical answer for this, but why do things happen? I'd never even heard the word cerclage till I lost Daniel & now I have one and just found out another person had to have an emergency one put in... It just doesn't seem fair I am very thankful it's an option available because if not I'd have no chance of having a successful pregnancy. Just having heard about this person freaks me out because it reminded me how two weeks can make such a tremendous difference in cervical length. I'm just so worried this cerclage isn't going to work for me and I'll lose this baby too Why is this something I have to worry about???? Why ??? I just wish I could have a worry free remainder of this pregnancy!

Thanks for listening

Thank you Katie (.:Shortcake:.) for my beautiful siggy!!

I know life truly isn't fair... But think of it this way at least we live in a time where things like that are an option! I mean how far medical things have come are amazing! I know it's scary and I'm hate how we all have to be scared. But my best advice is one day at a time. Celebrate everyday as a mini milestone. That's what I do... Big hugs and sticky dust. Think positive. You have that in place for you to have your perfect rainbow baby.

I ask myself that question all the time! I'm sorry you have to worry. You should be able to enjoy your pregnancy without worrying. I hate that we all know loss, and the all-consuming worry of PAL. It's not fair. I hope your cerclage works perfectly and you're holding your rainbow baby in your arms very soon. I know several women who had cerclages, made it to their removal date, and then went on to reach or surpass their due date. I hope I can count you among them in a few short months!

Thank you Jaidynsmum for my beautiful siggy!

It's so unfair. It is scarier since we have so many women in our DDC who had second and third trimester losses in previous pregnancies. I have great hopes that your cerclage will work perfectly.

Thanks so much ladies! Just hearing of this other person's situation gave me anxiety - even though i know things are never a certainty, it just brought to mind how quickly things can go from great to terrifying. All I could think of was the anatomy scan with Daniel & how happy I was that day & how quickly that changed to absolutely terrified and then the misery that came later. I have now been listening to the baby's hb every day & that is something I was trying not to do, but if I don't I get worried- I really need to start feeling this baby before I go nutty *SIGH*

Thank you Katie (.:Shortcake:.) for my beautiful siggy!!

Last night I found that if I lay with my left leg over a pillow and my right hip and part of the right side of my belly against the bed I can feel my boy pretty consistently. Worth a shot for you to try, too!

It truly sucks that we can't enjoy a pregnancy. I know that for me until I'm holding my baby in my arms I will never be comfortable or safe. The innocence of pregnancy has been taken from us and it's not fair.
