I am 14 weeks now and in my first pregnancy that resulted in a loss this is when everything started to really go downhill. I started feeling like crap- dizzy, swelling (gained 13 lbs in like a day or two), high bp, protein in urine (toxic level), etc.

Now that I have approached 14 weeks in this pregnancy I am starting to get that really uneasy feeling. Watching my feet, etc. I actually haven't checked my bp yet. I am sure if I knew where my bp cuff is at I would.

I try not to worry, but it is hard. I accidentally told my ob the wrong day for my period. I told them that so they have me due on Jan. 20th. According to my LMP I should be due Jan 18th and by my u/s it showed Jan. 15th. They still haven't changed it. I requested an u/s to check the placenta. Those of you that don't remember me I had a loss at 15w4d. I had a partial molar pregnancy so it is important for them to check the placenta and make sure it looks normal. They agreed to do the u/s and said I would be 15w4d when I get it. That is according to the Jan 20th due date which is wrong if they are going by my LMP. I am a little freaked out about it. It will be in the same room where I found out that I had miscarried. I know my chances of having another molar has increased since having the one, but my chances are still pretty rare. It is still difficult though.

Trying not to stress the next couple of weeks, but I know that is probably near impossible. Thank goodness for my doppler. I wouldn't be able to get by day to day without it.

Sorry just had to post about this. I am not really sure exactly how I feel so I just had to post this somewhere.

Thank you Shortcake for my siggy!

PAL is SOOO hard. That would be incredibly hard to deal with for anyone. Many thoughts and prayers from me to you. I am glad that you have the doppler. Hearing the little heartbeat is so reassuring.

Thank you *kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

I cant even imagine that kind of stress, it has to be horrible and consuming. Im praying that your next couple of weeks go by quickly and your u/s is just wonderful. I would of done the same with the dates, to make sure they saw me sooner rather than later. I do know a women who's first baby was a molar(lost at the same gestation as you) and she went on to have 3 little boys uneventful. Praying for you.

Hugs. PAL is extremely hard. No one understands really until you live it. Is there another room to do it in or does your OB only have the one?

I can totally relate. All of my m/c were determined in one room and it never fails, I get it every time. I finally requested with this one I get the other room. (Nice tech also). I had to wait an additional week but in the long run, it helped me feel better. I could take the cold room and the tech with no personality again.

When's the actual date of the u/s?

Like the other ladies have said, PAL is so hard. Your mind is your worst enemy a lot of the time. I hope the next few weeks pass smoothly.

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Pregnancy after loss is so difficult. I remember having my u/s for Jacob in the same room that I learned that I miscarried also and I remember feeling like I was going to pass out from fear but it all turned out great and hopefully the same thing will happen for you. Just know that we are here for you to listen to all your fears and help you get through them.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
