I've had 4 miscarriags in a row, and they can't find anything wrong with me. So, I'm pregnant again. This is the first pregnancy that my progesterone has been really high. I have a feeling that this is going to be my first baby. But, I need reassurance. Anybody had a few miscarriages in a row, then a perfectly healthy baby?

Thank you!

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I have had 4 losses, 6 pregnancys.
Miscarriage, baby, Miscarriage, Miscarriage, Ectopic, Baby

Have they checked you for blood clotting issues? I know a lot of ladies on here have been told they can not find anything but go ahead and take a baby aspirin just in case.

I have MTHFR so I had to do Blood thinning shots my whole pregnancy with my son & just to be safe my DR put me on progesterone the first 12 weeks. I was also put on Metformin because I have a touch of PCOS.

Wishing you a H&H 9 months

I'm getting there, I think! I've had three losses in the past 18 months (an ectopic, a chemical, and then miscarriage of a twin at 8 weeks in this pregnancy), but I feel pretty good now that this little boy I'm carrying is going to be born healthy. He looks perfect in every respect every time I have an ultrasound (and I've had a lot). We had a rough first trimester with the loss and an SCH that caused bleeding and some placental abruption, but things have been great the past 10 weeks and I really feel good that all is going to turn out well.

Will you be seeing a perinatologist/maternal fetal medicine specialist? I didn't have my first appointment with mine until I was 12 weeks along, but it has been really reassuring to see one because they are SO thorough and very sensitive to my need/desire to know everything.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and I hope for you a wonderful, happy, healthy 9 months.

Yep. I had a baby, four miscarriages, and then a healthy baby. I am currently pregnant again, immediately after my last healthy pregnancy.

Mine was blood clotting and once I took blood thinners and progesterone, I carried my son to term. I am hoping I am so lucky this time around (so far everything looks good).

It is possible and happens quite often in PAL. Keeping hope is what gives women in here their babies Congrats and I hope this is your take-home babe.

Well, in all my four other pregnancies, my progesterone was very low.

With this pregnancy, I've had very HIGH progesterone! Good sign! &, I'm also taking baby aspirin daily because someone in my family had 3 miscarriages and had a blood clotting disorder. Now she has 4 healthy babies!

So, I'm crossing my fingers and feeling more hopeful everyday!

I had three losses before we had Jax. I had testing done including karyotyping for me and DH. Everything came back normal. 1st was a partial molar pregnancy. 2nd was low progesterone. The 3rd time we tried clomid for a "stronger" egg and progesterone supplements. I didn't have a m/c but she had trisomy 18 and we lost her too.

I think some of us just are really unlucky. I hope this is your rainbow baby, I think the high progesterone is a very good sign!

I had 4 losses in a row before my current pregnancy and they could never find anything wrong with me - no clotting disorders etc. This 5th one was just the charm finally! It can and does happen!

I had three losses in one year before having my now 2yr old. I also had a few inbetween my first 4 kids. I was tested and told "old" eggs was the reason. I have since went on to have 2 more since my 2yr old (one is still baking, lol)

Congrats and praying this is your rainbow!!

I have also had 4 losses since having my daughter and am now almost 19 weeks with my 6th pregnancy. I took progesterone this time (testing also showed there was nothing wrong with me or DH)

Congrats on your pregnancy!! I still have days where I feel like something is going to happen but everyone reassures me that everything is ok

Thank you Bokkechick for my gorgeous siggie

2 losses and I had my rainbow baby 2 months ago, it can happen
I took baby-aspirin and progesterone suppositories - my OB wasn't sure wither or not I needed them but taking them during my pregnancy with my daughter resulted in me carrying her to term!

I had 10 losses before my son was born, and have had 3 before this pregnancy. I have diagnosed issues though. I have low progesterone and my husband has a chromosome abnormality. It could be something to get tested for,. You and SO should get karotyped. It is a pretty rare problem, but it does happen...

The point at which you lose pregnancies can help indicate what is wrong. For example, chemical pregnancies are generally a result of hormone issues like low progesterone. My later miscarriages (after 8 weeks) are usually found to be affected by chromosome abnormalities.
