So the nausea isn't so bad the last week or so. There are moments, when I'm still racing to the restroom, but it's not 24/7 anymore and I'm relieved that I can eat. Well sort of.

I'm pounding the mashed potatoes. And rice. The two things that seem to be going down easy. I tried chicken and fish this week and they were a no go.

Peanut butter is my friend. But how much of that stuff can you really eat?

I lost about 9 lbs the first 12 weeks. And I've not gained an ounce back. Should I be worried or just be thankful that I'm ahead of the game?

I've definitely popped. I can hide it most days, which is convenient since we still haven't told anyone (DH's parents figured it out) but how many baggy shirts that don't LOOK like maternity shirts can you wear in one week without giving the game away?

What are you all eating? We grow our own food, and I'm LOADED with veggies and meat in the freezer and in our root cellar and I can't eat any of it right now except the potatoes. 100lbs is almost gone!

I have a friend of mine who is about 26 weeks pregnant and she has only gained 2 lbs. She lost in the beginning like you and her dr told her not to worry about not gaining because baby was looking great.

I would definitely bring your concern up to your dr at your next appointment and see what he says.

I am trying to eat healthy but I'm still sick also so I am eating lots of cracker and bread. I am also craving chicken tender salads so I eat alot of those.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

There were a couple of ladies in my DDC that either came out the same weight in the end or just a few lbs over their pre-preggo weight. Their babies were fine. Your baby gets first dibs on any nutrients coming down the line, so usually the only one who suffers is Mom.
Peanut butter is great for protein and calories, so if it tastes good, go for it! I would reach for calorie-dense options any time your tummy gives you a choice.

I too have friends who gained very little during pregnancy. They still got a nice big bump, and had babies who were healthy and in the 6 - 7 pound range.

Some women are lucky when it comes to the weight gain (or lack there of) during pregnancy. I wouldn't worry about it too much if it doesn't seem to concern your dr.

At 14 weeks I had only gained maybe 1/2 a pound. I never had severe morning sickness that made me lose weight either. I don't think it's too big of a deal as long as baby seems ok.
