You could do it at any age, really. If you think about it, if you conceived when Toren was 2.5, he would be close to 3.5 when you delivered. So by the time your tummy was nice and big, he ought to be able to understand there was a baby in there.

I wouldn't worry about Toren understanding there is a baby in your belly. Jackson didn't understand with Jacob but when we brought Jacob home Jackson was so good with him and now they are best buds. they play together all the time. I think there is a 32 month age difference between them. For me that was great. There is only a 22 month age difference between Christian and Jacob and that is a bit too close together. Jacob is still sort of a baby himself so it's been tough taking care of both of them. Plus 2 in diapers is hard also. Jackson was potty trained when Jacob was born so that was so nice. I just started training Jacob and it's hard to potty train with a newborn in the house.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

Truely and my granddaughter are about 10 months apart, and while I didn't have to have babies back to back Aria loves 'playing' with Truely. Which right now consists of Truely laying on the bed with Aria sitting next to her and touching her hand or toes.
Ame I think when you're ready to ttc you'll know

DH and I want another one already. But it's not in the cards. I have to wait to heal and by the time I get the green light, I'll be close to 42 yrs. old. I don't want to risk birth defects plus having a third csec. No, I think we are counting our blessings with two.

My kids are exactly 2 years and 1 day apart.

Sometimes I wish my DD was potty trained since we have 2 in diapers ATM. But it's alright.

DD never understood there was a baby in the belly. I would say "baby" and point to the belly and she would kiss and touch it but she didn't get it if that makes sense. 3.5 is probably a good age.

I won't be having another till DS is potty trained. 2 pregnancies, 2 c sections in 2 years is hard on the body. I need to lose weight and focus on my 2.

Reagan was 3y 3m when I had Addy, she understood that there was a baby before she turned 3, I think the bump and movement helped. lol!
