I had another prenatal appointment today and I'm looking perfect on paper as my dr called it! I've only gained 1lb since my last prenatal appointment at 11 weeks, and my blood pressure was perfect. When the Dr tried to find the heartbeat she could only get it for a few seconds and then peanut would take off. She spent nearly 5 minutes just chasing peanut all over my stomach. Peanut was moving so much and kicking that Dr couldn't get a digital read on the heartbeat. Finally she got peanut cornered and got the heartbeat reading. It was 140bpm, which is great and can almost rule out another soft marker for Trisomy 13. It turns out that Trisomy 13 babies have very rapid heartbeats (i.e. 190+).

I love uneventful Dr appointments. My next appointment is April 10th and I'll also be having my 20 week u/s that day. We're not finding out the gender but it'll be a long u/s to look for soft markers of Trisomy 13.
Thank you Claire1977 for my adorable siggy
For the special little one in your life!

Woohoo!! I love reading about uneventful, happy doctor visits! I know each one brings you more relief. Praying that each one continues to be uneventful until it's time for them to get as eventful as possible and bring you your miracle!
