I had my almost 30 week appt. Took my gestational diabetes test and the nurse stuck me three times. She missed my vein the first two times. UGH. I am horribly bruised. I am normally a good bleeder. Anyhoo.. Max's h/b was 167 and he said my measurement was good. He didn't get to schedule my c-section because you have to be exactly 30 weeks. So he told me to call them on Monday and ask them to do that. YEA! I am ready to know a date! Anyhoo...... I have still not gained any weight since my last appt. so I am holding out.

Yeah that's good news! Sounds like everything is going along really nicely. Have you got the nursery done yet? Sorry if I missed this but how come you are having a c-section?

I had to have a c-section with my first son and was cut from hip to hip to get him out safely. He had brittle bone syndrome and we didn't want to risk any bones being broken. He passed 5 weeks after delivery, but didn't break any more bones. He was beautiful and I miss him, but the result is c-sections for me.

How exciting! You're right behind me girl, but you may deliver before I do since you are having a c-section! I'm glad everything looks so good with Max. I know you've been worried about it. Sorry about having to be stuck a couple of times.....that always happens to me. They have the hardest time finding a good vein on me. It stinks.

sorry they stabbed you so many times..... it took them 20 minutes to get my drip in when I had my c/s, and I had a bruise that lasted THREE MONTHS!!!!!

How exciting that you'll be getting a date for your c/s soon - I can't wait until I'm pregnant again & am far along enough that they'll schedule my c/s!

I am so sorry to hear about that. DH's family (both brothers, father, uncle and aunt) had Osteogenesis Imperfecta too. We did a genetics consult when we were pg with Chandler, but since DH doesn't have the gene, we were clear.
Do you know already that he has the disease? I hope not.

I am glad you had a good appointment! He will be here soon!!

my first son was diagnosed at 20 weeks in utero, but the pregnancy has showed no signs of OI.
