I've been MIA for a couple of weeks now. Things have been so hectic here and last week alone was a write-off and Makenna & I were out almost every day! It's awesome to see so many new ladies here! Congrat's...I wish you all the best and an uneventful pregnancy!

I can't believe 3 months have flown by since Makenna was born. I don't know where the time has gone. Mak is such an awesome baby and loves to cuddle & snuggle, be with people, and content to see what's going on. She's had her days and nights straight pretty much from the beginning, and I average about 7-8hrs of sleep a night! She goes to bed around 8:30pm and gets up around 8am. She's been sleeping through the night now for around 2 weeks and cut out her 2am and 4am feedings completely! She's napping during the day now and loves her swing and bouncey seat. Tummy time is going well and she's this past week she started to reach out to grasp objects and likes to have a firm grip on things. She follows you with her eyes, and coos and laughs with HUGE gummy grins. She LOVES to talk and lovves to listen to me sing to her. I can't get over how sweet of a temperment she has. I really have no frustrating stories or being up late with her (which I haven't been up through the night with her since her 1st night home!). After having a perfect pregnancy, and labour and delivery...she's been a true miracle.

It was 1yr ago this week that I conceived her and I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. DH & I are already talking about when to start TTC'ing baby #2 and I think we're start summer 2008 since we want them to be 2yrs apart and I have a 69% m/c rate with each pregnancy. I'm in no hurry though and I'm loving the time that we have as a family of 3. This Christmas will be extra special since last year's Christmas present is now here! I found out I was "officially" pg 4 days before Christmas!

I've been spending my days that I am home decorating for Christmas. I LOVE this time of year and have a blast decorating. Here are a few pictures of my home and what I've done. I've got 8 trees up in total in various places of the house (including the living room, dining room, hallway, and powder room on the main floor) and one is in Makenna's nursery too (colour coordinated of course...her room was the Black & White Toile if you remember). Anyhoo...I'm tired but love that it's all done. I can't count how many people told me I wouldn't get it done now that I have Makenna. I don't think people really know how much I enjoy decorating and how I LOVE to decorate for Christmas. I will never let the season go by without going all out. So without further ado...I give you Christmas 2007 a la moi!

Your house looks so gorgeous!! You did a great job! I absolutely LOVE Makenna's little tree. It's so cute! It sounds like your life is just wonderful. I hope you get pregnant with no complications right when you and your husband start trying.

Hi Nicole!!! So awesome to hear from you. Makenna is a doll! I can't believe what a good baby she is! You are truley blessed. Especially with that great pg and labor. I was hoping that a hard pg meant an easy labor LOL...a girl can dream can't she? Your home is beautiful! You have a real knack for decorating. I love the way you did your stairs! I have a staircase I still need to decorate (everything else is done) but I can never get it to look as gorgeous as yours is! I know you are busy but continue to keep in touch when you can. I love hearing updates on you and Makenna!

Merry Christmas!
Hugs. N~
