Hi - I just noticed the sticky for normal progesterone levels during pregnancy, and that my levels are way above average (see below). My test at about 16 days past conception = 225. I'm taking progesterone injections, however, and my doctor never mentioned changing my dosage. Should I worry about my level?

Copied and pasted from the JM progesterone & hcg levels sticky:

Guidelines for Progesterone levels during pregnancy
* 1-28 ng/ml Mid Luteal Phase (average 10-15)
* 9-47 ng/ml First trimester
* 17-146 ng/ml Second Trimester
* 49-300 ng/ml Third Trimester

I'm not sure that there is such a thing as progesterone being 'too high', but I do understand why you'd be a bit curious! You mentioned you're on progesterone injections? I would imagine that that is why the progesterone is so high. Maybe ask your dr/ob at your next appointment?

I've never heard of having progesterone be "too high" either...

Like Emma said, I think you should ask about it.
