Since the majority of us see some accumulation of snow in the wintertime... Can you drive well in the snow?

I used to be able to... Used to have a Geo Metro, Chevy Cavalier and Chevy Lumina, and they were GREAT in the snow! But now I'm driving a minivan with bald tires, and it stinks in the snow! Even when the tires were brand-new, the van handled terribly in snow.

Its more of a question of WILL I?! I hate hate hate driving in the snow... so I really don't, unless its an emergency or I was already out and got surprised with it... in which case I tend to freak out the whole way home/there, but DO manage to get there!

I hear you there! I ended up having to call out of work yesterday, and I'm STILL mad about it. Unfortunately, Public Works here is about the slowest EVER, so it took them a really long time to plow our street. I'm hoping the snow will at least slow down overnight so I can go to work tomorrow!

It's the same here... they NEVER plow our street until a storm is over. We live on a hill, so if its been a heavy snow and we've been out all day there is NO way we can get to our house until they've plowed. Drives me nuts!

I've driven in the snow once on my own but I'd rather not with the kids.

I know how to drive in snow. My Trailblazer does pretty well in it but I avoid driving in it if I can. Especially since having kids.

Yes, I can drive in snow pretty well. Grew up driving in the snow! I took my drivers license driving test during a snowstorm! . I went to college in a city that is #14 on the highest snowfall list and drove alll the time up there. And I always had small sporty cars and never had a problem.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my siggy!
