There is an amusement park by the name of Lakemont. It is in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Directly next to the Altoona Curve baseball field. If you go on Wednesday, and only on Wednesdays....It costs $1 to get everyone in the park, then $1 for riding passes & $1 for mini golf. It is charged per the person. So if a family of 4 would go. It would cost about $12.

Very cheap, but lots of people go that day, day care groups. They usually start clearing out around 4 or 5.

Just thought I would post & let everyone know about this park. If anyone wants, I can get more information for you.

Ohhh! Is it one of those little old amusement parks? I love those! There were two of those within 5 miles of where I live now. They've been gone for years, but I have the best childhood memories from them.

I might check them out. Altoona is farther than my normal travel, though.
