This is from Hamptonbeachguide.com:

Hampton Beach Seafood Festival
As Summer Winds Down, Hampton Beach Heats Up
This festival is a fitting end to the summer-it is absolutely huge and all encompassing.

Are you ready to walk, eat, drink and shop? Held the first full weekend in September, the 18th Annual Seafood Festival, which is augmented by Hampton Beach's Sidewalk Sale Days, is a great way to end the summer and welcome the fall.

It goes on, but it's September 7-9 this year. I'd take my kids, but I know it'll be mobbed. Might go anyway.

I would love to take Sara to the beach this weekend but who knows with this disgusting weather we are having. It's depressing me that I can't even take a walk around my development beacause how ------ it's been....

I've never been to the Hamptons before but I would like to go some day....

It's supposed to start being hot again on Long Island starting tomorrow. My advice though, don't go to the Hamptons on a weekend, try to go in the middle of the week, traffic is INSANITY on the weekends!

I believe the festival thing is in Hampton Beach, NH... not the Hamptons, NY....
one is affordable on a teacher's salary, one is not.

LOL!!!!! I guess I should have made that clear. I was talking about Hampton Beach, NH. Yep, it's got to be a lot less expensive than the Hamptons of LI!
