I'm 8 days late for AF and last week I had a negative test. I've had some symptoms (or at least I think they are). I don't know if I have a regular period as I've only been off pills for a few months. 1st month off I didn't get AF (which didn't seem uncommon as I rarely got it when I was on the pill), 2nd month I did, which made me think I was back to pre pill taking self. Now I'm 8 days late and driving myself crazy. What's the latest I'd likely see a positive, before I have to believe it just didn't happen this month?

Can I request a blood test at the doc just to be sure? What do I even ask them?

Someone please get back to me soon, the two week wait was bad enough, another two will probably kill me!

I'd take another test now... with the going off the pill, it can take several months for you to become regular. It's possible that you ovulated later then normal and because of that your period isn't due yet which would mean, you'll get your period soon if you even ovulated or you conceived but later and that could mean you tested too early.

So test again now. If you can get to the dr., go and tell them your issue. Ask if there is a possibility of getting a blood test. If you can't get to the dr. right away then take a test every week or two til af shows or you get to the dr. If you aren't ovulating and you are trying to conceive you may need dr. assistance anyways to get your cycle on track to conceive.

Good luck!!!
