I never thought I would be the one asking the "am I pregnant" question but here I am!

I finished my birth control pack a month ago. My husband and I decided that it wasn't necessary since we would be trying soon. Well we started trying sooner than we thought. A week before AF was due. I am now five days late. I've had mild cramping for a few days now, horrible back pain and my breasts are sore and a negative pregnancy test as of this afternoon.

I know that chances are very slim of become pregnant a week before your period but this is just odd to me. Could it be my body has delayed AF since I quit my birth control? Is there a chance of pregnancy and it's too soon to tell?

Help!

Anything is possible coming off of BC. Test in a week or at least 12 days from the last time you DTD. This would give you accurate results. Good luck!

Have you had a period since coming off BC?

I am sort of in the same boat. The last time I DTD was roughly a week before my period was due to start, but I had stretchy EWCM (sorry tmi) and figured I'd just go with it. I am now on CD34 with no AF and two BFN although it's only been 8 days since 'conception' would have occurred which I know, I'm just setting myself up for failure with the hpt's aren't I? Lol, it's limbo that's killing me, all this waiting is driving me insane and my DHTB is along for the ride haha.
