I'm a Southern Mommy now We made the big move from WI to SC two weeks ago and I'm finally starting to feel a bit settled here. We're renting a house for six months while we sell our house in WI, so I only had to unpack the boxes with stuff we really needed for a few months. Right now our dinning room and basement are full of packed boxes, but the rest of the house is ready to live in for a while. So far I really love the area we moved to - we've driven up into the mountains the past two weekends and it's been beautiful. Oh, and I sure am loving the beautiful weather...I can't believe I've been wearing shorts and short sleeves in November! Of course I'm sure I'll be sad this winter when there is a big snow storm in WI and we're not there to play in it. (Won't miss having to clear the driveway though!)

Thanks Kristy (*Kiliki*) for the awesome siggy!!

Welcome!!! I know how you feel about the snow... it's a love/hate relationship. I'm originally from the north and now here in the south and I'd love just one good storm to go play in, then it can melt like 2 days later I definitely miss it around the holidays. Never feels like Christmas in capri and a short sleeve shirt - LOL!

Glad you finally made it!

I've really never experienced snow. Occasionally, we'll get 1-2 inches that melts the next day, but nothing drastic. I can imagine it would be pretty to see though.
