Do you have a zoo in your area or nearby? If so, how often do you go to it? Is it free?

The NC Zoo in Ashboro is about 1 - 1-1/2 hours away from me. It's not free, but a really nice zoo! It's the largest open zoo in the US I believe. Heh, proud of my state I suppose. Still, very nice there. There's an entire section for North American animals, Australian animals, and African animals. It's very large so you may need to split it up to two days if you don't want to do too much walking. Still, I'd recommend it!

We have one on the other side of town but it is awful!!! I don't even know the last time I've been there. I know it's definitely not free.

We have one about 2+ hours away. It is free and we usually go once a year. Haven't been this year yet. We drive part of the way and then take the metro train into DC. It's a great day trip

There is a small one about an hour away in Greenville, but we can be to the big Zoo Atlanta in less than 2 hours. We used to go to the Milwaukee Zoo all the time when we lived in WI the boys love going to the zoo.

Thanks Kristy (*Kiliki*) for the awesome siggy!!
