I'm a North Georgia mommy-to-be due in November 2011. This is my first pregnancy and my first post here on JustMommies, and I was wondering if anyone else out there is concerned about their well-water.

I live in the mountains, and my well water tastes fabulous, but we had it tested by University of Georgia labs and found that it has a "higher than EPA accepted" level of copper.

I'm concerned. I've been living here and drinking this well water for over a year with no observable health affects, but now that I'm pregnant and sucking the water down like crazy, I want to make sure I'm taking care of myself and my baby.

We are getting an in-line filter soon, but would Brita filter Copper in the meantime?

Any ideas, similar stories...?
