I saw this sign talking about a new you in the new year and I thought to myself "So what, for like 1/2 the year is a new year?" It bothered me, there are only 12 months in the year, not 100, we're in the 3rd one, it isn't all that NEW anymore...I mean I'm still getting used to writing "12" when I date things, but by the time I get used to it I'll be writing 13 (boy does that seem weird.)

When do you think the year quits being NEW!?

Never really given it much though. It still seems kinda new to me but maybe that's because days are flying by with my now 5 month old and it seems like the new year just started. It still seems like January - It's weird to think that it's actually March now.

I'd say maybe through February or March I'd consider it still a new year. April seems like a ways into the year but for me March doesn't.
