The registration deadline is fast approaching for those interested in becoming an accredited instructor of the Billings Ovulation Method. The Basic Teacher Training Workshop Part 1 will be held in in Airdrie on July 25-27. [email protected] There will be another workshop in October, in Edmonton.

For those who are unaware, the Billings Ovulation Method (BOM) is a form of natural family planning or fertility awareness which allows a couple to regulate births without drugs or devices. It can be used to avoid pregnancy with an effectiveness rate of 99.6% or it can assist couples in identifying the most fertile time of a woman's menstrual cycle for the purposes of conception. The BOM can be tailored to suit any kind of menstural cycle without reducing it's effectiveness - including while breastfeeding, during peri-menopause, irregularity due to medical disorders such as PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome or thyroid problems.

If you have any questions about the method itself or the process of becoming accredited as an instructor, feel free to email me.
