Truthfully, yes, probably more like 3-4 months before we'd starve... but as far as making balanced meals, there is a solid month in there! That's given that our freezers don't die!

What we are at risk of is not having enough gas in our generators if there were a power outage!

This is all a result of A) the power outage we had last Oct. and being caught with no supplies at all! (Not even a generator at the time... now we have 2!) B)cooking a million freezer meals before Arthur arrived!

We could easily survive a month, and could eat healthy for at least a couple of weeks.

It wouldn't be a month now. I'm actually hoping it's only a couple more weeks so I don't have to move it all! Now if you had asked me this last month then yes, no problem! But for the past 3 weeks I've been buying only fresh fruit and veggies, milk and cheese.

My freezer is down to 2 chickens, a rack of ribs, a pound of ground beef a few bags of veggies and a package of M&M appetizers.

Not exactly lol we could last a week maybe!! We are used to just shopping weekly, I'd love to get into a better routine though.

We're going to have to go to the market this week or next. We definitely couldn't much longer than that! But try me again after the market although still much longer than 2 weeks for veggies and such.

A few weeks I think. I don't like to stockpile things.
