Is that an across Canada thing? Or just in certain provinces. I don't know if Manitoba does that....but either way, I don't care. DH works from home so he'll be around anyways.

Yes, excited to get the extra day paid. I already have Monday off so that doesn't matter, but DH's work already gives them 3 extra paid days a year so the company doesn't have to give it to them until the sign a new contract...unless they want to give up either xmas eve or new years eve or the "floater they have!
