Do your kids get much exericse?

I'm always looking for new ideas to get my son moving. he plays like a normal child, but i love seeing him get really energetic and physical. I try and do one thing every day thats more exercise than playing.

Today i am going to get out or goal posts and play football (soccer to you guys i think!). he has been watching the World Cup so i want us to pretend we are in the big games!

Have you any other ideas or tips for fun energetic games?

I let Belle play outside as much as I can... of course we have rules about where she can play...but she plays hard when she does and it usually ends up with an afternoon nap if we have errands to run in the car! LOL

My kids are so full of energy I don't really ever think about them needing more exercise. But we do love to play soccer and DH throws balls around with them a lot. I also try to get the dog running real good and they like to chase her.

My kids are fortunate in that life in the country has lots of opportunity for physical activity in the form of both chores and play. I think if you set a good example of breaking a sweat at least once a day, your kids will naturally follow suit. Limiting TV/computer time really helps encourage physical activity, too.
