Just wondered, as it seems to be a growing epidemic in the UK!

How many "pound shops" or "home bargain" shops do you have near you? Do they actually sell anything useful or is it all tat?

Quite a few! Milton Keynes is a town in itself but then has smaller old towns like bletchley within it - there's at least 3 in bletchley alone! There's a couple in central mk in the shopping centre (the centre:mk as its known) and in the other little towns on their high streets I think there's some. Never far away! My mum loves them, she always manages to find good name brand stuff like nice shampoo and wine and sweet things at much lower prices. Sometimes it really is all rubbish, I think it depends on when you go, you can be really lucky or find nothing at all just depending on what stock they have in at the time

We have Poundland and Pound World about 8 miles from us. I love Pound World, always manage to find some fab bargains there, Poundland I'm not so keen on. We have a B&M too, it can be pretty good around Christmas, although the older two swear by it for cheap drink & chocolate at lunch time

We have Dealz, Bargains, the €2 shop, and the numerous chinese discount shops in the city. Dealz is about the best, nothing cost over €1.49 and they have a lot of big brand stuff there, only downfall is it is in the city centre and a good walk from the nearest carpark, so you always have to bring someone with you to help drag the bags back to the car.

Forever missing my 3 angel babies: Harry, Ewan, and Audrey.
I am at one with God and with Nature. I feel my oneness with absolutely everything.
