AP being attachment parenting style, TP being traditional parenting style?

AP covers all manner of "natural" approaches to parenting including exclusive breastfeeding, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, babywearing, baby-led weaning, feeding on demand, picking baby up whenever they cry, etc.

TP covers more "traditional" methods or less "natural" methods, such as formula feeding or supplementing, disposable diapering, baby sleeping in a crib, using a pushchair, feeding/sleeping to a routine, and at its extreme, CIO, etc.

Many people will be somewhere in the middle.

Where do you feel you fall on the scale?

I'm a bit of both tbh although I'd say I lean more on the traditional side.

Attachment i do:- I have no problems co-sleeping and we have done since Connor has been born but only because he dislikes his crib etc or i would put him in there, I pick him up when he cries and feed on demand and he spends most of his time in my arms just not with a sling lol.

Traditional I do:- use a dummy, bottle feed, use a pushchair when we go out and disposable nappies.

When my kids gets to around 6months I usually have a routine going certain feeing times and bed times

I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle. I just do whatever works at the time!
