I'm playing around online and decided to start reading about Clomid and the increased chance of twins. I know, it isn't that much of an increase but it is still something I am kind of hopeful about.
Well, I was reading post on a different forum by women that already have Clomid babies and if they would take Clomid again if they TTC. One gal posted about how Clomid made her feel like a crazy person and the day of O she was off the wall, wanting to break stuff. Immediately I am thinking "oh boy" because I am supposed to be taking an antidepressant and an antianxiety med but I stopped taking both when we decided to actively TTC again. So I got this mental image of myself FLIPPING out while on Clomid.

Maybe all my PCOS girls can start a fund to bail me out of jail?

I really am joking, just thought I would share my silly thought.

HAHA Kandie.... don't worry yet! Everybody reacts differently to Clomid, there is no way of knowing for sure in advance how your body will react. I was super, super nervous about it, but I only went through a little moodiness, caffeine-type headaches in the mornings, and some hot flashes. Nothing I couldn't handle. Getting dried up from it was by far the worst part... Pre-Seed, Pre-Seed, and MORE Pre-Seed is the best advice I can give you! KUP on your Clomid journey!

Haha!
That's cute!
I was on Clomid for 3 rounds & each time I got killer hot flushes, a few headaches, & I was moody (more so than usual)hehe, but it doesn't last long.
I feel so sorry for my DH while I am on it. I act like a crazy person...And I know it!lol

I was in the same situation, used to be on anti-anxiety meds and anti-depressants but stopped awhile ago. I didn't have too many mood swings (although I did have a few LOL) - in fact, I'm more crabby now that I'm pregnant! LOL

I wouldn't worry about it too much, everyone reacts differently

I had NO issues with Clomid. No hotflashes, no mood swings, nada. I did take it at night though right before bed so maybe that's why?

Also, I'm terrified of having twins (more risk for a c-section, in nebraska (where I give birth) you can't have a midwife, etc..... but last time 50mg only gave me one perfect follie, so I'm hoping 50mg again does the same thing IF I have to take it again (hopefully I dont)

Well, I already know that I will have to have a c-section. I ended up having to have one with my dd and my doc said if I have anymore that I will have to have a c/s because no one around here will do vbac's due to malpractice insurance premiums

I didn't really have mood swings either, just hot flashes & some headaches. It also didn't dry me up. The 2nd IUI cycle (when I got my BFP), I did have a thinner uterine lining then the doc wanted, but that was easily fixed.
