My Ovulation Chart

HUGE temp drop!!! I'm pretty sure this means no O. I'm not doctor but after my experiences with Clomid last time and then seeing the specialist and ultrasounds, here are my thoughts:

I think my body takes the clomid and responds to it and gears up for ovulation, hence why I had a temp spike in response to the clomid and why there was EWCM, but then there is no LH surge which prevents any actual ovulation. At this point my cycle is no where until I take prometrium to start my cycle over again. I hate to say it but I think I will need the trigger again.

So my ob is out of town and will be back monday (CD 21). He is probably going to want me to come in for bw to confirm no O and then I'm just going to ask that he send me back to the specialist. I don't want to keep going through these ups and downs again for nothing, no O.

I'm just really kind of depressed about this. Everyone kept saying, oh now that you had a baby, things will be different, it will be easy this time. Look at my mom, she got pregnant 3 months after having me. Well clearly my body is right back to its old ways.

I'm sorry, Beth. You could still have a spike coming, especially after that big dip today. I will still hope for you that the clomid is still trying to do its job.

Where did my reply go?!
I just posted this long ol' thing.. Let's see if I can re-create.

I'm sorry love! If you aren't getting AF on your own, I'd assume the Clomid isn't causing O. Don't lose faith though. I know the triggers suck but they help a TON! That was my last BFP (January) from a trigger shot. And I am going back in tomorrow for another (hopefully, if I have ready follies). Here's to hoping for good stuff for us both!

The actual trigger isn't that big of a deal, it's just the whole process around it (going in for a bunch of ultrasounds to see when they are ready). I've never had ultrasounds on a cycle without clomid, but with the clomid, I know my eggs get bigger. That's all we have ever had to use before a trigger. Not to mention I feel stuff going on in there (kind of weird, i know). I know it's just that last surge I'm missing, which is what the trigger does. Hopefully the phone call on Monday with my doctor goes well. Although I'll probably just go in for bw and then talk to him later in the week.

Last time we went to this specialist, she had like a 2 month wait, so hopefully it's a little shorter this time. On the plus side, her office is a ton closer to my new work, so going in for all the ultrasounds will be really easy! I could even leave work and come back if I wanted, but she is open in the evenings, so that's not hard either.

Oh No!
I'm sorry, hun! Trust me, I know how frustrating that is!
I hope your doctor has good news for you!
