Hey all! Has anyone tried to regulate their cycle with birth control pills for a month prior to TTC?

My cycles are back to being ridiculous again... took birth control this summer for a month because I was going 80-something days without AF and the BCP was my doctor's suggestion to jump start my cycle. It worked like a pro, started AF immediately and then had a 28 day cycle! Woohoo!
But now I'm back to normal and currently on CD 53. No idea when (or if) I ovulated... took 2 HPTs (one yesterday, one on Thanksgiving) and both showed up with stupid indent lines (FRER). Yesterday's was very convincing! Looked pink, showed up immediately, but disappeared within an hour.

*Thank you to
