Hello ladies!

A few months ago I came here all worried because I just didn't get my period for 2 months, and it turned out my PCOS had come back. Well, it's been about 6 months, and we're finally TTCing for #2. I am 37 so I don't have much time ahead...I mean, yeah I could get pregnant at 40, or 42 even, but my energy is just not the same...my baby boy is 21 months old. I'm still breastfeeding him, but for now, we're not stressing ourselves much, I haven't even treated my PCOS yet...we'll see.

Anyway, just wanted to know if any of you ladies have gotten pregnant with PCOS, or if it was harder, or just, you know, hear about your experiences.

For now, I think I ovulated on January 10th, and we 'tried' on the 25th and the 28th...when should I test? I mean, leaving aside the fact that I have PCOS, what is normally the period of time one should wait, 2 weeks?

Nice to be on this journey again, can't wait to get preggers with my 2nd, hopefully a girl!

PS: Is it more possible to have twins when you have PCOS? Just asking...

Hugs and blessings from Santiago, Chile

NOTE: I posted this on the TTC board, but I guess this is the correct place to ask this question

I have pcos and i do not ovulate on my own or even get a period. Are you using opks and temping to make sure you are actually ovulating? You can have a period and not ovulate. Getting pregnant varies person to person, some have no problems conceiving and others it can be difficult. I have a few friends that got pregnant with no 2 without trying but then others are not having suck luck. If you ovulated on jan 10 but didnt bd until the 25 that is probably too late to get pregnant.
I believe the rule of thumb is to wait 2-3 weeks after ovulating/intercourse to test. Good luck!
