Hi, my name is Julie and i am 41 years old. I have reason to believe that i have pcos. There are a lot of the symptoms happening to me. We have been trying to have a baby for years and its not happening. I am wondering how hard it is to diagnose? Another thing is that my period sometimes come either early or late. It was 2 days early this month. Is it possible i ovulated early? I am so confused about it all. What questions do i ask the doctor when i make my appointment? Some answers would be appreciated. I really need some input before i go to the doctor. This is a serious situation for me and time is not on my side.

Hi Julie,
My name is Julie too! Some tests you may want to ask from your doctor are: LH, FSH, TSH, Testosterone, androgen levels, DHEA, Prolactin, estrogen, progesterone,as well as an ultrasound of your ovaries to see if there are any cysts or other abnormalities in your reproductive organs. I hope this helps! I just went through these same tests!
