It's been a long time since I last posted here. I was just recently diagnosed with possible diabetes, and my doctor put me on metformin to help lower my blood sugar; and possibly help me with conceiving our second child. She told me I am not PCOS yet, but there may be a slight chance with my irregular periods, whether it's taking a long time to get it that month and/or very short days.

I've been taking metformin for about a month now, unfort., i had skipped a few weeks due to busy work/life schedule. I'm 35 now, and I'm worried I won't be able to conceive much longer, as my AF keeps getting shorter and longer to come each month. I'm hoping metformin will help with this; but who here has been on it and has sucessfully conceived?

My husband and I work very very different work schedules, and by the time we want to get anything "done" we are tired .. or our 6 year old wants to always be around me, and never gives us space Lol ... If we have sex once every week or so, will this up the chance? My OB / Midwife told me we should try for every other day. We really do try, but it seems our schedules just plain don't allow that to happen

I just need a confidence booster or something. It just depresses me, because when I conceived our daughter, I had no issues, but again I weighed 110lbs less than I do now, which makes me even more sad.

Thanks for any help or comments. I just want to try to get this down, so we can get #2.. be fore I can't anymore.
