I took the Metformin for several months. When that didn't seem to help, I got the assistance of an RE who closely monitored my cycles with Clomid, ultrasounds, an Ovidrel 'trigger shot', more ultrasounds, IUI, even more ultrasounds... then finally pg on the third cycle of this process.

An RE is a reproductive endocronologist (hope I spelled that at least close to right!). I guess basically an infertility doc. My RE was VERY specialized and knowledgeable and understanding of my situation, I loved her. It doesn't hurt that she helped me get pg when I had basically given up hope of ever having a baby.

I conceived all three of mine with Repronex injections and my hubby's sample was inseminated on ovulation day.
