hey everyone! i was glad to see a forum on pcos. i was diagnosed with pcos when i was 12. it kept getting worse and around age 18 they told me i most likely would never have children. that upset me horribly because i've always wanted a large family. anyway...they put me on metformin because my symptoms were getting out of control...i gained over 50 pounds and my hormones were all out of whack...well after i started the metformin my hormones started to become more regular and i started losing the weight. 4 months after starting the metformin i ovulated for the first time...and guess what....I GOT PREGNANT!!! i am only 20 but believe me now is better than never and i couldn't be happier!! so thought i would share my little success story so everyone would know that anything is possible

Thank you for sharing your story and welcome to TTC with PCOS. Feel free to drop in and give encouragment.

I was diagnosed at 21- but my new doctor doesn't even think I have PCOS. But I am on my 3rd pregnancy and expecting my 1st. So even if doctors say its impossible or not likely- never give up on God. Because God can change things and he can heal. With God all things are possible.
