Do you send letters or cards in the mail? How often, for what occasions?

Christmas Cards to everyone. Birthday to close family, mothers, grandmothers, etc. I have 15 nieces and nephews and 2 (almost 3) great nieces and nephews so it is a little hard to keep up with all of them.

We send notes to DH's grandmother fairly frequently.

PM to see if I am available to make a siggy - decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

No, hardly ever. We don't have relatives across the country or anything, everyone we have in North America is close by. And then my family in Israel - I used to send cards for birthdays/holidays but after a few got lost, I stopped. It's expensive and just frustrating.

I send cards to my family and DH's family for birthdays, mother's day, father's day, etc. I send Christmas cards out to a lot of people, probably around 100. I have a list of about 24 close family including DH's aunts, uncles, and my aunts and uncles who get updates on the kids throughout their first year and also every birthday after that. They get a snapshot and a little letter. Sometimes I send out Valentine's cards or Easter cards just for fun. I like making my own cards, I don't do it as much now becuase I don't have as much time. But a couple times a year I try to do it.

Cards to family for the usual holidays/birthdays. I send out letters to family and friends who are active duty with overseas postings (6 currently get a letter once every week or every other week) this is my main written correspondence other than thank you notes.
And now there are 6....
