Have you read any papal encyclicals? I didn't know they existed before grad school. My fave is John Paul II's Ecclesia De Eucharistia - On the Eucharist in its Relationship to the Church. It's a pretty easy read, and it's a beautiful explanation of the Eucharist.

Here's a site that has almost all of them.

My husband has a ton of them in his bookcase he used to buy them all the time, but now he just downloads them

I've read a few of them. DH and I studied Castii conubii, Humanae vitae, and Familiaris consortio as part of our preparation for teaching marital sexuality classes before we moved. I've also read Ecclisia, Rosario Marianis Virginae, and I started Deus caritas est but didn't finish it. I should pick that one back up.

BTW- I'm not sure I got all the Latin right.
