That stands for a prayer request thread!!

Add your intentions here.

I'd like to pray for the victims of the bridge collapse. I found out this past weekend that two of the victims were from my parish.

I'd also like to pray in general for families and for peace.

For anyone who has asked me for prayers.

For anyone who has recently lost a spouse or a family member.

For those who have fallen away from the faith, that God may draw them near.

I too would ask for prayers that my baby arrives safely and is healthy.
I also would like prayers for my job - I am hoping they will let me job share and then after my maternity leave I would be able to work days when my husband is off and thus avoid the need for any kind of daycare. If that doesn't work out than either I will have to find a different part-time job or my husband will have to get a second job. The not knowing is causing a lot of stress.
Happy Feast of the Assumption!! I will pray for all of you and your intentions while I am in Mass today!

"Authentic love is not a vague sentiment or a blind passion. It is an inner attitude that involves the whole human person. It is looking to the other, not to use but to serve. It is rejoicing when the other rejoices and suffers when the other suffers. Love is the gift of self." JPII
