Do you try to buy or make religious gifts for your children? What are some common gifts your children have received for baptism & other religious holidays or events? Do you buy religious items for family members or friends?

I am hoping to make some of my Christmas gifts this year. One of my nephews has DH as his godfather, and his brother is my godson. This year for Christmas I am going to make them a prayer board that can be put on the fridge. I am planning on printing pictures of people they know, and decorating the board so that either weekly or daily they can switch out the pictures and pray for a different person that day/ week. A friend of mine did something similar for her kids, so that's where I got the idea.

I'm interested in your answers to the above, because I'm always looking for ideas of small religious gifts I can give people. I tend to give a book, if I've read a good one recently, or coloring books to kids, etc. I need new ideas!

man, I'm soooo not crafty to make my own gifts. I like to buy little things for my friend's kids too.
Like rosaries or medals or coloring books (they love coloring books).

You have such a neat idea for the calendar thing. I probably should do that because
my son is always asking:"Can we pray for daddy?" etc.

I am not crafty in making my own stuff either...lol... for our niece's baptism last month, we got her a children's bible, a white rosary in a box... we try to visit the Catholic book/gift store when we can and pick stuff out. Natasha has a pink cross hanging on the wall in her room, very childish but nevertheless a cross. She also has some religious pictures on the walls.
