By young, I mean under 50!! It seems that nearly every Parish here has Priests over the age of 60. Our Parish Priest is 63 and when he was away this weekend the replacement Priest was well into his 80's! He was telling us that the Bishops in Africa want the Vatican to send young African Priests to the UK to thank us for sending our Priests there many years ago.

We have two priests. The pastor is older, probably early 60's. The assistant pastor is very young, I think younger than me!! They are both fantastic, and each bring their own strengths to our parish.
