So, a sweet friend of mine could use a couple. Her husband was a roommate of Matt's, so when she got married to Trevor a couple months after I married Matt, we kind of were insta-friends.

She was diagnosed with PCOS at 17 so she knew kids would be a struggle to get. They had twins in January of 2008 thanks to injectibles and iui. They've been trying for another since about when Patrick was born (2 1/2 years) with nothing. At the end of this week, they're going to start the IVF process. Their insurance has a certain amount for fertility treatments, but they still only get a couple rounds. So, if you could say a little prayer that this works, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

Sure! My sister and BIL started a round of IVF last week. They've tried everything else and this is the last chance. They have an 8 year old and have been trying for a second child since he was 9 months. Medical assistance so far hasn't worked. Harvesting eggs will be next week and then hopefully they'll get some embryos and then the transfer will work. If this doesn't work they're probably just going to be happy with the one they were able to have. It's so hard. They've been married 11 years. It took a while to get the son they have, but they didn't need any outside help for him.
