Alittle About Me: I'm Jennifer (23 years old). I've been married to Josh (23) for 4 years. I'm a Air Force wife and we are stationed at Barksdale AFB, LA. We have a 10 month old son named Dakota. I'm a SAHM.


When my son was born, my goal was to lose my pregnancy weight before my son got 1 year old. I've lost 27 pounds but now my weight is has been at 135 for months! It's time for me to start exercising so I can look good at my sons first birthday party!

Height: 5'3"
Current Weight: 135 lbs
Amount needed to lose: 15+ lbs
Goal: lose 1-2 lbs each week.


Here's my log for the first week:
Sunday April 4, 2010 -- No exercise
Monday April 5, 2010 -- No exercise
Tuesday April 6, 2010 -- 30 minutes on treadmill and did not skip any meals (I normally skip breakfast); weight at 134.5
Wednesday April 7 2010 -- 20 minutes on treadmill; did not skip any meals; no water
Thursday April 8 2010 -- 20 minutes on treadmill; did not skip any meals; no water
Friday April 9 2010 -- 20 minutes on treadmill; did not skip any meals; 50 ounces a water

Starting on Sunday, I'm planning on counting my calories and adding strength exercises to my daily routine.

I feel so blah and I don't know what to do! I have only lost 0.4 pounds in 6 days. I'm hoping to lose atleast 2 pounds a week. I really hoped that not skipping a meal and no eating sweets would help, but it didn't. I need to diet, but I don't even know where to start or 'how' to diet. I'm horrible at following 'diets'.

My dh and I discussed cutting down on how much I eat at mealtime, drinking water through out the day, and no snacking at all. I'm also going to exercise more. Jogging on the treadmill and step aerobatics is not going to do a whole lot. I'm planning on starting strength exercises today.

I really hope I can lose weight. I don't feel so good about myself right now.

Okay so I totally lost it and stopped exercising. I did continue to not eat sweets or drink sodas. I'm starting my exercise again and looking for a good diet plan. I have to stay motivated! I weighed myself today and i gained 2 pounds.. putting my weigh at 134. So disappointing...
