Well, yesterday I finally decided to run a marathon. I have been wanting to do that for a long time now. I just haven't had the discipline to get myself in gear. Yesterday when I was walking my dog I noticed that I was wearing the same outfit as my "fat" picture I took last summer. It just kinda hit me that this is going to stay my body shape unless I push myself to the edge. I have lost 50 pounds but still look soft. I have been just skimming by on my workouts.

Yesterday I walked 2 miles and jogged 3 miles wuth hard burst in between until i couldn't push any more.

This morning my goal is another 5.

Today is 5 on my workout special for my marathon I have decided that I will only be training for my marathon on the running part only two days a week. I really want to run a half marathon buy the end of the year. A trainer told me that if I wanted musclel then running too much will eat into my muscle. Its a catch 22. So Tuesdays and thrusday are running and sunday is a lite jogging day. I have been pumping the weights. I figure my cardio level is pretty worthless at this moment so running hard sprints two days a week will help build it up. I think being in all over good shape will help with the marathone.

Breakfast oatmeal and oj

postwork out shake

lunch: turkey on pita from spangles no dressing

mid day snack apples and honey

dinner grilled chicken and carrots
