Just had my 8th baby; time to start a new journal!

My weight before this pregnancy was 185. My weight the day before he was born was 210. Weight yesterday, 4 days post-partum, was 193.

Obviously not going to start really exercising for a while longer yet. Still having BP issues, following up with doc tomorrow and will ask about when I can start walking. I don't feel like I had a baby five days ago. Will be doing kegels and pelvic tilts a few times a day, and that is all for now.

This afternoon at WIC I weighed 191.5 so I'm guessing I might be in the 180's again by Friday.

My goals for this week...
Exercise: daily kegels and pelvic tilts; 20 minute walk Wednesday and Sunday
Diet: eat breakfast; drink 2-3 quarts water daily

weighed yesterday, two weeks post-partum. 187.2!

I want to start logging food but just to re-establish the habit, not restricting for weightloss. When I am ready to diet, I'm not sure if I want to count calories with MFP or count points with WW. I will decide that in another month or so.

I am so anxious to get running again! I wonder if there is any way I can be ready for a 5K in July?

Obviously I was really bad about updating.

John is 5 1/2 months old now. My weigh in yesterday was 169, so from my "starting weight" I have now lost 51 pounds. I'll be curious to see if it bumps up again. My body does not seem to like dipping below 170 even though I should be able to go lower. Will see what happens this time.

I decided to do a Running Streak. At least one mile at 13:00 pace or faster will count as a "day". Today was Day 4. Not sure how long I can keep it up, but it will be something to do through the holidays. I also need to work on more weight lifting. Even though my weight is good, I feel like I'm flabbier than I should be. Need to tighten up!
