My MIL arrived Thursday afternoon (like she has every weekend since august) she got there about 2:45pm and asked me how I was feeling I told her fine.I wasn't having any contractions or any other signs so I didn't suspect baby was coming. She left to go get my dd from school at 3:15 and my dh arrived home early at 3:30. I decided to lay down for a few before dinner but my tummy decided it need to empty before my nap. As I was getting up from using the restroom I felt pop and a small trickle, I didn't think it was my water breaking but I walked around for a couple of mins so I could see if more would leak. It didn't so I figured it was nothing. I went to pee again and as I was sitting down I got another trickle, I still wasn't sure it was my water though. This happened about four times and then all of the sudden I started getting strong contractions, they felt just like my contractions after my water broke with my third. So we loaded up and headed to the hospital. It was a good thing we did too. It took us about 35 mins to get to the hospital. By time we got there I knew the baby was coming now! We got up to triage and they made me stop and fill out paperwork. I looked at them and said this baby is coming now and we have to do this? My dh did it for me, they checked me and I was an 8. They took me up to L&D and into the bed. In walked my dr and saw it was me and he told the nurses I didn't need an iv or monitors, because it was me and he knows my history of fast babies. He walked up to me and said women have been doing this for years without monitors and you don't need them. He asked me if it was time I said it is very close. He checked me and as soon as he did it was time to push there was no stopping it. My son was born in about three pushes. About 1 hour and 7 mins after my water broke. My placenta came very fast after he was born, because of that my uterus didn't cramp up and I began to hemorrhage. They started an iv and gave me every med they could to stop the bleeding but nothing worked. I was cramping very hard but by that point my uterus was so full of clots it wasn't doing any good to stop the bleeding. The dr had to come back and manually clean out my uterus. That was the most painful thing I have ever experienced and I did it without pain meds. After it was done it worked and my bleeding slowed way down.

Through all of this Kolton was doing great! He even nursed right away. He was born on 9/29/11, weighing 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. Other than a bit of jaundice he doing great now!
