I am just wondering where you find ladies find hemp or bamboo for inserts. My mom offered to make some for Kieran's diapers, since he needs soooo much absorbancy. But I have no clue where to find what I am looking for. Is there a website to order from? Or a store?

I love SuJos inserts, made from bamboo (I believe) and am looking for something along those lines. I would love to abuse my mom for her sewing skills, since inserts are kinda simple (she has done covers and fleece for us so far). But if I can't, I will just buy some. Was just looking to save some moola

I got some 70/30% hemp/bamboo jersey from Nature's Fabrics and cut it into flats and snake doublers. It is DELICIOUS!! Look in their hemp section, I think they have some hemp bamboo fleece that would make great inserts.

I get mine from coops but I've bought from Etsy when I didn't want to wait. Wazoodle.com has about every absorbent diaper making fabric you can think of, but I personally think they take forever to get to you, unless you live in Canada.
Kids in the Garden has it most of the time and good prices. Most other places are around $14yard

I use a cotton/bamboo blend fleece. Ditto etsy for good prices and quick shipping. It's really easy to work with, your mom should have no problems. Wash/Dry at least once before cutting though!

You should ask her to make some double layer fitteds, I bet they would be so comfy and trim, and cute with some FOE around the edges!
