Wednesday morning we arrived at the hospital at 7 a.m., and got me all registered and comfy in my room. At about 8 my doctor came in and checked me and I was still 2 cm, and 80% effaced, so he did some more stripping. OUCH! At around 8:30 they started me on pitocin. It was a long contracting morning. Slowly thru out they upped the pitocin more and more every few minutes or so. At 1 p.m. I got my epidural, and at around 1:30 I was 5 cm, and they broke my water. By 230 I remember telling the nurse that I had some pressure, but boy was that epidural REALLY working. My legs were like dead horses!
At 3:00 they checked me and said I was fully dialated and she asked me to push a little to see if the baby would drop. The doctor came in and said he wanted me to push some and let the baby get settled and he would be back to deliver in a bit. Well, when he had me push "some" Landen dropped right down and was crowning. The doctor was quite suprised. He stayed right there, and scrubbed up, and within 4 sets of pushes out Landen came with a head full of dark hair!

It was honestly a great delivery. The doctor even commented that I made it look way too easy!
