My 10.5 week old daughter was just diagnosed with crazy allergies (milk, wheat, egg, peanut, beef & potato)...it freaked me out and all the Drs made me feel like I had to go to formula. So I stopped nursing last Saturday. I pumped here and there until Monday to relieve myself.

Yesterday I decided the guilt was killing me and I wanted to go back to nursing. I decided to pump all day and start the strict allergen free diet today. So I pumped every 2 hours yesterday. I got about 5oz total the 1st time and then it dwindled each time.

Today I decided to let her nurse, then give her formula, then pump. When I pump I barely get drips! I am so worried I killed my supply and can't get it back. Has anyone stopped and started again? Did you get your full supply back? How? and How long did it take?

I know it takes about 3 days to notice an increase when you are trying to increase your supply so hopefully you will see an increase over the next day or 2. I would think since you haven't dried up you stlll have a shot! Good luck
