Does anyone else suffer from this?

I suffered from this when I was supplementing Natasha and I've started to feel the first effects of it in the last few days with Sam when he first latches on and I feel the let down. It became really bad around 3 months or so with Natasha and I had a hard time keeping on breastfeeding. I had no idea what it was until I googled 'bad feelings while breastfeeding'. I have been dreading this starting again. It didn't stop me BFing Natasha and it won't stop me with Sam but I am really hoping it won't be as severe this time.

I'm not sure. The first 10 weeks or so with Natalie I'd get severe nausea when my milk let down. It was a bad feeling, but not sure that it counts. It's better now though.

I think nausea is part of D-MER (the D-MER site is down or I'd link to it) so you might have had a form of it. I'm glad that you're not experiencing that any more.

My experience was mostly emotional, I had a sense of absolute dread and despair for a minute or two and then would be fine. It was so intense, it would just make me feel terrible and then would disappear. I also had a total aversion to food or drink while Natasha was nursing.
